A bit of spring

The weather here has been a bit crazy; we had sunny 70 degree days and then two days ago we got snow!  Still thinking spring thoughts.  I'm thankful for the sureness of the seasons.  So often we can feel like we can't "see" God but He reminds us to look around at the things we can see and remember that He is the author and creator Who reveals Himself to us in the beauty of His creation.  God reminds us that the seasons will change and will not cease.

We've started a bit of prep for this upcoming "seedtime".  We've started working on our garden area outside and started a few seedlings inside.  The kids love seeing how many new sprouts pop up each day.

From death (of the seed) comes life (in new plants) what a beautiful picture of new life in Christ.

I also made a new table scarf to add a bit of spring to our table; the old one I had was a red plaid and more winter looking.  I found this yarn at Savers so it was a great deal.
